‘Angel’ meets ‘West Wing’ meets ‘L.A. Law’…

Buffy is gone, but after lots of rumors and nailbiting, Angel was renewed for another season. The next question is “just what are we going to get?”
The season ended last week on a major re-vamp (no pun intended) note, with Angel & company getting handed the keys to a new and improved version of their four-season rival, Wolfram & Hart.
This could either be a lot of fun, or go downhill in a hurry. I’m willing to give Mutant Enemy the benefit of the doubt, although they keep making me nervous…
David Greenwalt gives an interview with a few teasers on what to expect, and suggests “What you have now, is ‘Angel’ meets ‘West Wing’ meets ‘L.A. Law’”
Angel. Check.
West Wing. Check.
L.A. Law? Now I’m getting scared again…
The only good thing about LA Law was the buzz generated by the “venus butterfly”.
Still trying to figure that one out….
lol… I do remember the Venus Butterfly storyline..
Of course, now I’ve pretty much gave up on figuring out that (or the “swirl” thing from Seinfeld, for that matter), and just trying to remember how this silly-assed dating thing is supposed to go again…
