Camp Coffee

March 27, 2005

Camplore has a few tips on Camp Coffee.

Camp coffee isn’t that gourmet stuff you’ll find at Starbucks, but it manages to taste pretty good just because we’re outdoors.

Drinking coffee outdoors? I can see maybe using the fire to heat water, but where do you plug in the grinder?

Ah, for this it’s only a handful of grounds and a sprinkle of dirt. Try one of the enamel speckled pots, preferably with a loose lid and a bandana potholder. I have been witness to and grateful recipient of the product. Evidence clearly, that I am not particular enough about my coffee to discuss with the elite, but it hits the spot on a cold morning.
