I have had the same problem than Andersius, but finally I tried the same steps with Lynotype and then I resolved the problem!!

I had the same problem when opening up Yahoo Mail. Some of the fonts were messed up. This was after my install of Snow Leopard on a MacBook Air. Thanks a lot!!!! You saved me likely hours of frustration. The net (people) is good.
