It gives you an option on either to save music to your computer only or also to iTunes. It's a good software and free. Only thing is not sure of any viruses in software. I need to just store them on a folder that has nothing to do with ITunes and then go in and connect my Ipod and then transfer them over..all without losing my songs on another folder...it's ridiculous. Let me also warn anyone not to update to ITunes 9 if you have a classic IPod..it's not compatible and you will lose everything..at least I did and Apple cannot help me..yet are aware of the problem!! Two points of clarification: If you are on Vista the instructions for showing hidden files won't work (atleast they didn't for me).
